REIKI FOR WOMEN

Reiki is an established system of energy field healing which utilizes universal life force energy to assist the natural healing process. Reiki has often been mistakenly referred to as a form of or offshoot of massage therapy, or as a religion or belief system, though it is neither. The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) division of the US National Institute of Health (NIH) classifies Reiki as a Biofield Medicine. For comprehensive medical research information on Reiki therapy and a listing of hospitals in the US using Reiki in a medical setting, the following website is an excellent information resource:

Reiki treatments generally last 15 to 60 minutes. Reiki treatments are conducted in person or can be "sent" over distances when a person is not physically present, as energy knows no time or space. Both methods of energy transfer are equally effective. A full body Reiki treatment involves a fully clothed client lying down on a comfortable treatment table, and the practitioner or master (there are three levels of Reiki) transferring Reiki energy to the client through a series of hand positions which correspond to the body’s chakras, head to foot. A practitioner’s hands are either placed lightly on the client (always non-intrusively) or held a few inches above the body chakras. Reiki energy is transferred to the client through the practitioner’s hands, and can often be sensed or felt by the receiver as relaxing warmth, heat, tingling, or coolness, although many people don't notice any particular physical sensations. Practitioners do not use their own energy in Reiki treatments, but are simply conduits/channels for universal life force energy.

It is understood by all who practice Reiki that healing does not necessarily mean “cure”. It is the higher self of the receiver that draws in and guides Reiki where it is needed most, and since individual life path knowledge and experiences may yet need to be gained, since a person may not want to genuinely heal on some level, or since one may place limits on his or her ability to heal by what they believe is possible, the benefits of Reiki treatments will vary from individual to individual. Everyone who seeks Reiki treatments and/or training should know that Reiki Practitioners and Masters do not diagnose or prescribe for any medical or psychological condition, nor do they direct the outcome of a Reiki treatment. They are simply conduits for universal life force energy, and transfer Reiki with positive, healing intent. Channeling Reiki involves instruction and attunement (a process which opens up the energy chakras and meridians) through an established Reiki Master/Teacher.

Reiki treatments can help promote and accelerate the healing process, increase overall health and vitality, balance one’s energy field system, provide stress relief and relaxation, and can be used in conjunction with any other healing/medical therapy. Reiki treatments are generally a very pleasant, relaxing, positive experience, even if emotional releases occur during treatment. Reiki always works for the highest good of the receiver, who draws in the life force energy where it is needed most. The benefit of Reiki treatment is understood to be cumulative.

All of my Distance Reiki treatments are sent for a minimum of 30 minutes. To send a Distance treatment to you, I'll need your full name, birth date, and location in order to clarify who exactly I am transferring Reiki to. (There may be others across the globe with your exact name, so I need more than a name to connect with you specifically.) If it is possible for you to Email or mail me a current picture to use for Distance treatments, the provided visual connection would be appreciated, although it's not a requirement. (If you do provide me with a picture to use, please choose one that other people and pets don't appear in, because they may inadvertently receive Reiki as well.) I don't generally provide 3rd party Reiki treatments (Reiki distance treatments for a loved one, for example) without the consent of the intended receiver, except for pets or loved ones incapable of giving consent. Anyone with a chronic or life threatening health condition should notify their physician before obtaining regularly scheduled Reiki treatments, as the benefit of Reiki treatment has been shown to precipitate the need to lower the dosage or strength of medications in some cases. I transfer Reiki with concentrated positive healing intent for the highest good of each recipient, without exception. While my distance Reiki sessions are available for everyone, the Reiki treatments I provide in person are available for women only, in accordance with home based business professional ethics.

Pricing is an individual decision made by each Reiki Practitioner and Reiki Master. I hope to further promote awareness of this valuable energy field healing modality through affordable Reiki treatments and instruction.

If you are interested in learning and practicing Reiki, I offer the 3 traditional levels of Usui Reiki instruction and attunement. Whether you would like to learn Reiki in order to give healing treatments to yourself, family members and pets, or you are a health professional that would like to incorporate Reiki into your existing business practice, I would love to hear from you. No special skills or requirements are necessary to utilize Reiki, yet having a natural compassion for others and a spiritual sense that each of us is a part of one great whole can prove very beneficial to your practice of Reiki. Level I Reiki focuses on the history of Reiki, the attunement process, the use of Reiki, preparing for and giving Reiki treatments, the Reiki treatment hand positions, chakra information, Reiki ethics, and more. With attunement to Level I Reiki, you are able to give "hands on" Reiki treatments to yourself and others. Level II Reiki focuses on three of the four Reiki symbols, their purpose and how to incorporate their energy into healing treatments, instruction on performing distance Reiki treatments, and more. With attunement to Level II Reiki, you are able to give (send) distance healing treatments to anyone wishing to receive one, and to channel Reiki with specific healing intent, and for specific purposes. Master Level Reiki empowers you with Master Reiki symbol energy, and focuses on activating Reiki attunements in others, teaching Reiki, and realizing your own spiritual development. I offer two options for Reiki training: Distance instruction with remote attunement (available for both men and women), or instruction and attunement in person (available for women). I teach Reiki individually rather than in a group/class format, so each student receives personalized Reiki instruction that fits into their schedule. You can begin whenever you'd like, and learn at your own pace.

Level I Usui Reiki includes my Level I instruction manual and additional Emailed supplements, Reiki attunement to the first degree, custom Reiki certificate, free Reiki distance treatment before the day of attunement, and ongoing support. Price: $90 US

Level II Usui Reiki includes my Level II instruction manual, Reiki attunement to the second degree, custom Reiki certificate, free Reiki distance treatment before the day of attunement, and ongoing support. Price: $75 US

Master Level Usui Reiki includes my Master level instruction manual, Reiki attunement to the 3rd and final degree, custom Reiki certificate, free Reiki distance treatment before the day of attunement, and ongoing support. Price: $120 US

(I will need a copy of your existing Reiki I or Reiki II certificate if you trained with another Master and are seeking level II or Master level training with me. For anyone who may have received a Reiki attunement without the benefit of receiving a Reiki manual, or who hasn't actively practiced Reiki for a time and can't locate their instruction manual, my level I or level II manual is available for $20, mailing fees included.)

Reiki training in person is payable by check, cash, or prepayment through Paypal. Distance training is payable through Paypal. The training process for each level is outlined below.

Distance attunements are equal in effectiveness to attunements performed in person, just as Distance Reiki treatments are as effective as those performed in person. Women can obtain Reiki instruction and attunement with me either in person or by distance learning. I don't provide in-person Reiki instruction or introductory Reiki treatments to men, in accordance with city restrictions for home based businesses, however, my distance (remote) instruction and attunement is available to men, and is absolutely as thorough and complete as the instruction provided in person. Individualized training in person involves 3 visits for level I, and 2 visits each for level II and Master level. For level I, during the first visit we meet, you receive the manual for the level of Reiki you are obtaining, we decide on the day and time for the free distance treatment and for your attunement, and I answer any general questions you may have. The second visit is for carrying out the attunement process, and to answer any questions you may have about the manual material. The third visit for level I is a follow-up to the attunement and the material you have learned: We will exchange a Reiki treatment (above the body chakras without physical contact) so you can experience both the giving and receiving of Reiki in person. At the third stage of level two I ask that you Email or mail me notes on 3 distance treatments you have conducted, and at Master level I ask that you send me notes (by Email or mail) on an attunement you have performed. I encourage each student to practice Reiki daily on self, and others (as available) at each level of training, and this applies whether training in person or training remotely. For those of you distance training with me, I will ask for feedback/notes on "hands on" Reiki treatments for level one, feedback/notes on 3 distance treatments for level two, and attunement notes at Master level, to insure that you are confident with your knowledge and practice of Reiki at the level you are pursuing. Each degree of Reiki instruction and attunement can be completed within a few weeks, and gives the permanent ability to transfer universal life force energy in the manner associated with each particular level. Again, I encourage daily self-treatment at each level of Reiki training, and most emphatically at Master level. Each student will receive their Level I, Level II, or Master Level Reiki certificate and Usui Reiki lineage information at the completion of training. I am readily available and happy to answer any questions you may have, so please feel free to ask, and Reiki blessings to you.
